Debbra Brown

Debbra S. Brown, 57 of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 6:24 PM Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice following a three month illness. She was born Saturday, April 16, 1955 in Newark, the daughter of Virgil R. DeLong and Shirley I. (Heistand) Krouskoupf. She married James J. “Jeff” Brown on Saturday, February 18, 1995 and was a member of Tree of Life Christian Fellowship. Debbra was a graduate of Zane State College and was an Independent Home Health Care Giver. She was an avid fisherman and greatly enjoyed yard sales. Debbra was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Debbra is survived by her husband of the home; her mother: Shirley Irene Krouskoupf, two children: Shaila Johnson and Allen & Tina Johnson all of Zanesville; two step-children: James Jeffrey & Stephanie Brown of Zanesville and Janelle Mitchell of Indiana; Grandchildren; Tata Johnson, Shalen Johnson, Shade Johnson, Sherrod Johnson, Drew Brown, Alec Mack all of Zanesville, Isaiah Mitchell and Donavan Mitchell of Indiana; one sister: Cindy Kessler; one brother: Jeffery DeLong; one sister: Diana DeLong; two brothers-in-law: Gordon G. Brown and Stephen & Tricia Brown all of Zanesville; three sisters-in-law: Bonnie J. Norris of Omaha, Lisa DeLong and Cheryl DeLong both of Zanesville, her stepmother: Mary Jane DeLong of Roseville and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Debbra was preceded in death by two children: Wendy Irene Johnson and Infant Teleana Dawn Johnson; three brothers: Steven DeLong, Russell DeLong and Randy Grimm; her mother-in-law: Eva M. Brown; two sisters-in-law: Mary H. Palmer and Sherry Brown her stepfather: Donald Krouskoupf, Sr. Friends may call Friday, August 31, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at The Tree of Life Fellowship, 2220 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville and from 11:00 AM till time of service on Saturday. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at the church with Pastor Tom Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Morrison House Hospice & Pallatative Care, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, in Debbra's memory.
