Nadine Leddy

Nadine Leddy, 87 of Zanesville, died 10:10 AM Friday, November 7, 2014 at Genesis Morrison House following a brief illness. She was born February 24, 1927 Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of Homer Herbert Harmon and Virginia Mae (Taylor) Harmon and was a faithful and dedicated member of Trinity Full Gospel. Nadine was employed by Custom Coil, Essex Wire Company and retired from Bethesda Hospital in 1992 following many years of service. She as very involved in several ministries at Trinity Full Gospel Church including the choir, food pantry, office and The PLA or Ladies Ministry where she enjoyed making noodles and candy to sell to make money for the church. Nadine was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great and great, great grandmother. She loved the Lord and gladly and freely gave to many charities and religious causes. Nadine is survived by 5 children: Virginia (Maurice) Sims of Crowley, TX, Jo Ann (Rod) Brown of Zanesville, Willard W. (Crystal) Crawford, Jr. of Nashport, Cathy (Mike) Cannon of Zanesville and Joseph (Michelle) Crawford, Sr. of Philo; several grandchildren: Bob “Bobbie” Elson, Terry (Nancy) Elson, Teresa Morrison, Lisa Graham all of TX; Cindy (Bruce) Austermiller , Christy (John) Fleece, Randy (Tina Dobbins) Brown all of Zanesville; Mark (Val) Crawford of Zanesville, Lindie (Jeremy) Johnston of Frazeysburg; April (Matt) Mihalko of Zanesville, Bryan (Gina) Cannon of Philo, Joseph Crawford, Jr. of Philo, Jason (Shawna) Crawford Sr. of Nashport ; several great and great, great grandchildren: Jeff, Jessica, Amanda, Dustin, Jenifer, Austin, Alex, Ashley, Beth, Robert, Kasey, Nicholas, Tiffany, Caleb, Mac, Matthew, Robbie, Ally, Chiara, Zoey, Addie, Cali, Cullen, Calli, Ethan, Hannah, Emma, Hunter, Greg, Haley, Jason, Jr., Layla, Peyton, Lucas, Brice, Elicia, Riley and Lillie. In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Willard Crawford, Sr.; her 2nd husband: Lawrence Leddy; five great grandchildren; Jeremy, Kyleigh and three infants. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at The Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville and one hour prior to funeral services from 11:00 AM till 12 Noon at Trinity Full Gospel, 535 Munson Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral Service will be 12 Noon Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the church with Pastor Jenny Gadd and Pastor Matthew J. Mihalko officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
