Patricia Myers

Patricia (Apperson) Myers, 81 of Zanesville, died Friday, June 8 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was born July 10, 1930 the daughter of James and Dora (Spinks) Apperson. Patricia was a homemaker and a self employed painter and wall paper hanger. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed traveling and was a prize winning pie baker. Patricia was a loving and adoring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Pat is survived by five Children: Keren (Jeff) Nelson and Robert (Martha) Myers of Roseville, Ken (Shannon Adams) Myers of Zanesville, Kathy (Curt) Jefford of Carroll, Sonya (Marvin) Brown of Crooksville; ten grandchildren: Jacob (Andrea) Montgomery, Kurtis (Jeanette) White, Ryan (Brandy Powell) White, Nicole (Joshua Winans) Brown, Ben (Bliss) Nelson, Micah (Lindsay) Myers, Andy (Brittany) Brown, Katie (Grant) Schooley, Matt (Amanda Dobbins) Myers and Clint Jefford; seven great grandchildren: Cole, Madison and Sydney Montgomery, Brandon White, Ali Brown-Winans, Amory Brown and Slade Myers; a brother: Ronald (Deborah) Apperson of Zanesville; one sister-in-law: Alice Apperson of Senecaville and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Myers; two brothers: Richard Apperson, John B. Apperson and three sisters Mary Ruth Donnelly, Eileen Jenkins and Jean Wisecaver. Visitation will be two hours prior to services from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Monday, June 11, 2012 at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue with funeral services to immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Robert Whyde officiating and daughter Kathy Jefford providing the eulogy. A caring cremation will take place and private burial services will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery with immediate family.
